After months of building and tweaking a new and improved Saginaw Bay Area (SBA) Birding/SBA Birding Trail website, it is finally here. Zak Branigan, Executive Director of Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy, was instrumental with MAS and local birders to establish a Saginaw Bay Birding Trail. It just seemed like a natural merger of the SBA's birding website with the Saginaw Bay Birding Trail. Zak and his staff created a great, new look and we've all had a hand in tweaking it to its current release. Recent bird sightings, a photo gallery (now with thumbnail overview), and seasonal surveys were a mainstay to the old site and improved in many ways.

This will be an evolving process. Please provide me with feedback with any area of the new site that doesn't contain information from the old site that you viewed prior to the change. In the meantime, I want to thank Mike Kelly, Saginaw Bay Watershed Initiative Network Coordinator, for funding the SBA birding website for the past fifteen years. A big shout out to Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy's Zak Branigan, Trevor Edmonds, Erin Denay, and Lauren Sequin for creating such a great new look!
Good Saginaw Bay Area Birding!
