Spring migration is upon us! Late April is one of the best times to enjoy it at Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge. Join Refuge Volunteer Jeff Sommer for a guided bird walk along Ferguson Bayou Trail. Beginning birders are welcome. This is a great way to learn about birds and how to spot them, and to meet other people that share your love of birds and the outdoors!
Meet Saturday, April 26, at 9am at the Ferguson Bayou Trail parking lot on Bishop Road, near the west end of Curtis Road. Please bring binoculars and dress for the weather. A field guide is recommended. This walk is free and open to the public.
Contact the refuge at (989) 777-5930 extension 10 if you have questions.
