I was driving the country roads near home to look for a Northern Shrike for a new year bird. I drove north on Pine to Consumer's guard gate and turned back. Just before the railroad tracks, a robin-sized bird flew up from the ground into a bush. I stopped and was shocked to discover it was a Gray Catbird. I didn't have my camera so I went home and came back to the location. It was still there and I was fortunate to get both photos and video.
