Michael wrote, "I have been anticipating seeing large flocks of swans since they usually show up about this time of year, but I wasn't expecting to see as many. This morning, a little after 8:00 am, they starting flying westward over the house. In less than 45 minutes I counted more than 3,300 swans in wave after wave. I've seen as many as 1,000 in a day, but this was by far the greatest number in so short a time. It was quite astounding."
